This website is operated by Heatlie Letterboxes. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Heatlie Letterboxes. Heatlie Letterboxes offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. 

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. 

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service. 

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. 

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. 

By accessing and using our website you agree to these terms and conditions. Do not use this site if you do not agree with these terms. These Terms of Use (Terms) relate to the use of the website aletterbox.com and our online services of M and A Mead Investments Pty Ltd, trading as Heatlie Letterboxes. 

Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the website. However, occasionally information may be inaccurate due to changes in product specifications or price. 

Some products are shown with other products and accessories which are not included in the advertised price. 

If you are using the site on behalf of an entity you represent and declare that you are authorized to act on behalf of that entity, you accept these Terms on behalf of that entity and that entity agrees to indemnify you and Heatlie Letterboxes for its violations of these Terms.

All users need to be 18 years or over. 

To use the site to make a purchase, you will need to provide personal details. Upon purchasing, you will need to provide accurate, current and complete information, maintain the security of your details, do not share your details with others and notify Heatlie Letterboxes of any security breaches related to the site. 

All content on this site remains the property of M and A Mead Investments Pty Ltd. You are not permitted to copy the photographs, logos, documents or any other material contained on this site.  

Heatlie Letterboxes reserves the right to modify or discontinue the site or any features or portions thereof without notice.

Online ordering: 

Upon completing your order and submitting it through the checkout system, you will be issued with an order reference number via a confirmation email. Your order will only be processed once it has been passed by our internal validation procedures to prevent credit card or payment fraud. We reserve the right to refuse service or supply of the products or to terminate the contract and/or your account at our discretion. If we need to contact you, the details entered at the checkout will be used.

Pricing and availability:

All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD). Most items are manufactured to order and if for any reason, this product is suffering significant delays, we will contact you. Please be aware some letterboxes can take a substantial amount of time to manufacture.

Standard Built-In & Freestanding - 2-4 weeks
Custom Faceplates & Multibanks - 4-6 weeks 

Please note these lead times are just a guide and never guaranteed. We always do our best to make and dispatch every order as soon as possible, but delays in manufacture can occur and we ask for your patience if this is the case.

Electronic transactions:

You agree that all of your transactions with or through the site may be conducted electronically from start to finish unless for some reason this is not possible. If we need to proceed non-electronically, those transactions will still be governed by these Terms.

Delivery, shipping and handling:

When we send a delivery to you as per your instructions, you may incur an extra delivery cost on top of the amount already paid at the checkout. This applies for regional locations, the need for a forklift or in some cases, delivery to a residential address.

Due to the large, bulky and heavy nature of some of our letterboxes, mainly freestanding letterboxes and multibanks, delivery interstate can be expensive, especially for residential addresses without a forklift. We offer a standard flat rate that you will see calculated at the checkout, however please keep in mind we may need to contact you for further shipping costs depending on the situation. 

We will notify you as soon as possible if any extra charges are applicable to your order. Please be aware that prices for freight are not controlled by us nor do we aim to make a profit from freight charges.

You agree to pay any delivery and handling charges shown on the site when your order is placed. We reserve the right to increase, decrease or eliminate charges from time to time and without prior notice so you agree to check all charges before signing up to purchase any product.

Letterbox manufacturing can take several days or weeks to complete. We can not make any promises as to delivery times and lead times. You will receive tracking information once your order has left our premises. 

Unless otherwise stated, we will deliver the goods to the address supplied at the time of placing the order. Changing delivery address after your order has been dispatched will incur an additional fee of $25.


We currently accept payment via the Shopify Payment gateway. Only valid cards can be used and any refunds will need to be credited to the same credit card used for the purchase. By submitting your order you are declaring you are the authorized user of that card. If any further delivery charges or alterations to the order placed online are required, a member of staff from Heatlie Letterboxes will contact you by phone to discuss directly. 

Cancellations, returns and exchanges:

All cancellations and returns will incur a 20% restocking fee and a delivery fee from the place of pick up to the Heatlie Letterboxes factory. Alternatively, you may wish to organize your own transport at your own cost, to return the goods. Any refunds will only be given once the goods have been returned, inspected and are deemed to be...

1. Not used or installed.

2. In new condition without any scratches, dents or marks that may occur through transport and use that will require that product to be refurbished in any way, for re-sale. This includes packaging.

3. Free from customised features such as attached numbers, water jet cut outs etc.

Proof of purchase is always required.


All items are covered under our Manufacturer's Warranty. Proof of purchase will be required.
